Meet your upholsterer: Hi, I'm Amanda
I started my upholstery apprenticeship at 17 and have now worked in upholstery, soft furnishings and interiors for over 30 years. I hold City & Guilds qualifications in modern and traditional upholstery and in soft furnishings, and I teach and assess City & Guilds Upholstery at Leicester College.
Your sofa is one of the biggest purchases in your home, so I'll listen to how you live, help you choose the right fabric (pet-friendly and washable included) and get it right first time. I specialise in antique, traditional and leather upholstery, offer a lifetime warranty on bespoke sofa frames and sprung units, and reupholster commercial seating for pubs, hotels, restaurants and offices.

Do you recover furniture or fully reupholster it?
Amanda fully reupholsters furniture using all new materials, so it comes back as good as new. She does not simply recover over the old fabric, because stripping the top cover disturbs the layers underneath and leaves a lumpy, unprofessional finish.
How much does it cost to reupholster a sofa?

Can you collect and deliver my furniture?
Yes, collection and delivery is free within 5 miles, with a small charge beyond that.
Do you repair furniture on site?
Yes. With a full mobile set-up, most spring, fabric and frame repairs can be done in your home, office, pub, hotel or restaurant, without the furniture leaving the building.
