This is a 2.5 hour (10am-12:30pm) in-person workshop held at Coalville CAN, Coalville, LE67 3TU, every Friday morning.

This class is great for students that are wanting to start, or expand their upholstery skills and make new friends.

It is limited to 8 students for individual attention so places are limited.

Book early to avoid disappointment.

You will be responsible for your own project and all your own supplies. If you wish to purchase supplies via me, you are welcome to do so.

The piece must be approved before the class starts.

You can bring your own tools or use the tools I will supply in my workshop.

It is my hope that these workshops will help you move forward in your upholstery journey so that you will have the confidence to continue to upholster at home.

What is included in the workshop:

The use of workroom tools, compressors, and pneumatic air tools. The instruction for the 2.5 hours and relevant educational information.

What the student is responsible for:

Each student will bring their own project (this must be approved before the workshop). Some ideas for a project would be dining seats, a small occasional chair, foot stool or an ottoman.

If you’ve started a project and you’re stuck, this would be a great way to get you moving in the right direction.

Once you’ve signed up I will send an email with a few details that you’ll need to know before you attend the workshop. Feel free to email me with questions before you sign up for any workshops.

This is a suggested supply list:

Notebook and pencil

Fabric

Thread (if you want it to match your project)

Foam

Wadding

Hessian

(All these can be purchased at trade price in the class)
