Hi, I’m Amanda, a professionally qualified upholsterer and soft furnisher based in Coalville, Leicestershire. I work with homes and businesses across Leicester, Loughborough, Ashby-de-la-Zouch and the surrounding areas.

I started Amandas Treasures in September 2016 as a home for bespoke soft furnishings and sofa and chair reupholstery. It’s for people who want their home to reflect who they are. It also lets me follow my passion for upcycling and giving unloved furniture a new life.

Qualified, Experienced and Award-Winning
At 17 I began an upholstery apprenticeship with a small upholstery company. While I was there I completed my City & Guilds Level 2 in Modern Upholstery and Furniture Production, followed by the City & Guilds Level 3 in Traditional Upholstery.

I’ve always wanted to keep learning, so I went on to complete Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Curtains & Soft Furnishings. I’m also a recognised City & Guilds assessor, and I’ve taught City & Guilds Upholstery at Leicester College since 2023.
